The Incredible World of Bugs, a traveling exhibit presented by Orkin Canada, is ready to entertain, engage and enlighten the young to the young-at-heart about the strange and fascinating world of butterflies and insects this weekend at Devonshire Mall.
“The goal of the exhibit is to raise public awareness of the large role these tiny creatures play in our daily lives,” said exhibit creator and manager, John G. Powers. “They pollinate our crops and supply us with honey, silk, medicine, along with so many other benefits.”
The traveling road show includes interesting facts and a close-up look at rare beetles, giant spiders and brilliant butterflies. It also provides the opportunity to learn about the current challenges impacting the ecosystems which these creatures exist within, which in turn, affect our lives.
It runs Thursday until 9pm, Friday from 9:30am to 9pm and on Saturday from 9:30am to 6pm.
