After about four months since they broke ground, Habitat for Humanity has had the opportunity to commence the Dedication Ceremony for the now completed 60th build house in their 22 years of being an organization.
The 60th home build has officially been dedicated to the Nippers family, who are living a dream come true in becoming home owners. The nippers family has had to move more than 15 times in the past 18 years, and is happy to settle down in a place they can call home.
Charmaine Nippers spoke of the family’s excitement of having their first holiday gathering in their new home, Thanksgiving, an opportunity they would likely not have seen without Habitat for Humanity.
The home is a 1, 000 square foot brick and vinyl raised ranch on Meldrum road, built with the help of volunteers, sponsors and the Nippers family themselves.
