The Town of Amherstburg will receive a $3,500 Safe Community Grant from Enbridge.
The Safe Community Program provided by Enbridge awards grants to local first response emergency services to purchase safety equipment, obtain professional training, or deliver educational programs that help save lives.
The town will use the grant to purchase electronic personal dosimeters to protect firefighters in the event of a nuclear emergency.
