The heat is on!
An extended period of hot and humid weather will arrive today and continue into the weekend. Humidex values will approach 40°C or 104°F at times.
Thursday we will see a high of 32°C or 90°F with a humidex of 39°C or 102°F.
Friday we will reach a high 32°C or 90°F with a humidex of 42°C or 108°F.
Saturday will be 33°C or 91°F and Sunday and Monday will be 31°C or 88°F.
The Essex County Health Unit’s Associate Medical Officer of Health has issued an Extended Heat Warning starting Thursday and lasting into next week.
