All that is left of Abars are the memories now.
Work began to tear down the former bar located at the foot of Lauzon Road on Riverside Drive East last Monday.
The site has also been cleared of overgrown trees and weeds.
The property owners plan to green the space and place decorative fencing along Riverside Drive. A historical plaque will also be placed on site.
