Veterans And Cadets Ride Transit Free Monday

This Monday, June 6th will mark the 72nd anniversary of D-Day, the allied invasion of Normandy.
As a gesture of respect, Transit Windsor will be offering free transit service to all veterans and cadets, who are in full military uniform, on Monday.
In addition, War Veterans are encouraged to apply for a lifetime Transit Windsor bus pass for unlimited use on the conventional city service (Tunnel Bus services excluded) in the City of Windsor.
The free lifetime bus pass program is open to Canadian and Allied Veterans who participated in active service during World War II, the Korean, or Vietnam Wars and who reside in the City of Windsor.
