The Downtown Windsor BIA is looking for vendors to be part of Open Streets Windsor, a world-class program that will connect neighbourhoods and people across the community, on Sunday, July 17th, 2016.

Open Streets is a program where streets are opened to people and closed to cars. People traffic replaces car traffic, and the streets become “paved parks” where visitors of all ages; abilities; and social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds can hit the streets to mingle and improve their health through an array of outdoor activities, according to organizers.

The BIA is looking to stimulate the area by placing artistic exhibitors on University Avenue, one/two blocks east and west of Ouellette Avenue, with the objective of “engaging residents and visitors alike.”

They are inviting local artists, crafters and artisans to display their talents, and set up a free 10′ x 10′ booth/exhibit. A deposit of $25 will secure your spot and will be refunded in full after the vendor sets up their booth/event space.

Set up will be from 7:30am to 8:45am and tear down will be from 1pm to 2pm.

Space is limited to 30 booths/exhibitors. If you are interested in participating, register before June 30th by emailing Michelle at [email protected].
