Today The Corvette Club of Windsor held their Annual Waterfront Corvette Show at Dieppe Gardens, and with over two hundred cars on display it was their largest yet.
The ‘Vette Club has been in operation since 1974 and this annual show has raised thousands for local charities. This year, the paediatric oncology unit at Met Hospital will be the recipient of all funds raised.
The event features car judging, vendors, door prizes, a silent auction, and more.
“It just keeps growing every year,” says Carole Hillier, who, along with her husband, has been part of the local Corvette club for the last four years.
This year’s event features mainly cars from Windsor and Michigan, with some coming from as far away as New Brunswick. Those on display range in year from the 1950’s to 2016.
“It’s going to happen again next year, as always,” says Hillier, encouraging both spectators and car owners to get involved in future events.
