The Hospice LifeWalk celebrated 20 years with the biggest urn out the walk has received, featuring around 1,000 people. The 5km fundraising walk has made a big impact with a partnership featuring all 27 local Shoppers Drug Mart stores.
This year’s LifeWalk took place at the Ciociaro Club, with attendees being able to run, walk, or bike around the trail. The Hospice LifeWalk is a chance to give back to the community, as well as to remember and honour loved ones who have fought, or are still fighting, a life-altering diagnosis.
Dana, the Relations and Stewardship specialist for The Hospice stands with volunteer Bonnie, The Hospice Communications and Events specialist Laura, and the Director of Community Engagement for The Hospice Father Matthew.
