The City of Windsor will have a new operator for concessions stands at its busier arenas.
Concessions Group Canada Inc. was the only was the only bid on the contract to operate the concessions at Adie Knox Arena, Forest Glade Arena, South Windsor Recreation Complex and the WFCU Centre community area — not the main bowl.
CGC has agreed to offer employment to all existing staff as their experience and knowledge will assist them with an easy transition.
CGC will make yearly payments of $35,000 plus tax for a five year period to the city with the option for five additional years.
Council will give final approval at their meeting on June 20th.
