Local Memorial Vigil Planned For Victims Of The Orlando Shooting

A memorial vigil for the victims of the Orlando shooting is planned for this Wednesday in front of The Squirrel Cage on Maiden Lane at 7pm.

The event will include speakers, remembrance vigil, and an opportunity for the community to sign a Canadian Pride Flag that will be sent to Orlando,
Florida by Mayor Drew Dilkens.

Speakers include Mayor Drew Dilkens, Joe McParland, Biz X Magazine Writer/Blogger, LGBT Community Member, David Lenz, President, Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, Greyson Abela, President, Windsor Pride Community Education & Resource Centre, as well as musical performances by Julie Leadbetter, Michael-John Knoblauch and others.

Everyone is welcome.
