ENWIN Introduces Power Outage Map

Now when your power goes out in the city you will have a new place to turn for updates.
ENWIN Utilities has added an interactive map to its website that will allow Windsorites to check for outages in their areas.
“We are excited to add this map to our customers’ tool kits, as an additional way of providing up-to-date information during storms and outage situations,” said ENWIN President and CEO, Helga Reidel.
The outage map will provide information about current outages, including the neighbourhood where an outage is in effect, the number of customers affected and the estimated time needed to restore power.
“During sustained outages, phone lines can get congested and customers experience frustration trying to get through. We hope that our new map will provide the information customers need to feel reassured that we are aware of service interruptions and working to restore power,” Reidel said.
The outage map is available on the ENWIN website.
