Residential house sales were up for the month of April compared to one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Last month, 679 homes were sold, compared with 582 in April 2015. A jump of 16.67%.
It was in Central Windsor where most homes changed hands with 97 sold, followed by East Windsor with 64, and South Windsor saw 62 homes sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 54 houses sold, LaSalle saw 47 and Amherstburg had 45.
Overall for January to April 2016 2,038 homes have changed hands, while the same period in 2015 saw 1,734.
