PHOTOS: Runners Keep Warm During Running Factory’s “Spring Thaw” Race

With snowflakes flying, and despite the bitter cold, hundreds of runners took the Riverside Drive to run in the Running Factory’s Spring Thaw event, Sunday morning.

The event, now in its 23rd year, featured a 5km run/walk, a kids 1km and a kids dash (200 meters).

All proceeds raised benefit the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
