The 2016 Molson Canadian CARHA Hockey World Cup banners that were hung on Windsor light poles are now for sale.
“The CARHA Hockey World Cup generated tremendous excitement and we wanted to offer fans a piece of history. We had access to this unique item which isn’t available to other groups and decided to make it available for sale,” said Gordon Orr, CEO of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, who also commented that the idea to sell the banners stemmed from frequent inquiries from fans and collectors on how they could get them.
The vinyl banners are available for $100 + HST and can be purchased from Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, 333 Riverside Drive West. Interested parties can call 519-255-6530 for more information.
