Thinking of going to the University of Windsor this fall? Then you will want to attend the spring open house planned for this Saturday.
The University says this year’s open house will be geared to an even wider audience with all-day Saturday events intended to give full-time, part-time, mature students, and their families a better opportunity to check out the campus’s new look.
Prospective students will meet professors, staff, and current students to learn about programs of interest. The event will include an information fair, more than 50 program presentations, as well as tours of campus, residence, athletics, the EPICentre, and academic areas including the Centre for Engineering Innovation, Nursing, and Human Kinetics.
Students will have an opportunity to learn about fees and financial aid, as well as the application processes for medical and law school, the UWindsor Outstanding Scholars program, and information for college and university transfer students.
New to this year’s Open House is a Transition to University session, which will help students and their parents navigate changes from a high school to university environment; Pathways to a Career sessions for students looking at long-term planning; and Pathways to Undergraduate Research, which will show the many undergraduate research opportunities available on campus and how these opportunities can broaden the student experience and expand horizons.
