Sandwich West Public School in LaSalle will be open on Wednesday, February 24th.
It was closed Tuesday, after a broken main under the building covered floors with water late Monday afternoon
School board facility services staff, along with school custodians and a restoration contractor worked diligently to remove the water and clean the floors.
The break in the main has been closed and a new water line to the school is being installed. Until the required testing is complete, however, potable water for drinking and cooking will be supplied. Washrooms will be operational and hand sanitizer will be provided to supplement hand washing.
