Point Pelee National Park is looking for students to work at the park this summer.
Students who are currently enrolled in full-time, post-secondary studies at an accredited institution and returning to full-time studies in the next academic term can apply for the following jobs:
Student Labourer: Assist with cutting grass; cut vegetation along trails and walkways; clearing debris from roads, curbs, trails and sidewalks; general maintenance of assets; collecting garbage and recycle materials; clean barbeques, bins, and supply firewood for campground and designated picnic sites.
Janitorial Student: Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of park facilities; including washrooms, picnic shelters, parking lots, and staff buildings.
Student interpreter: Provide information and interpretation to the public on the significant natural and cultural features of Point Pelee National Park; Provide effective reception, orientation and interpretive programming; Present school programs, deliver guided hikes and other education programs. Must be bilingual in French and English.
