Hundreds gathered to support the Victorian Order Of Nurses at the group’s 18th Annual Chocolate Lovers Brunch, Sunday afternoon.

Patrons were treated to a full brunch bar, a silent auction with prizes donated by local businesses, and a raffle, all before the main event: who makes the best dessert?

Guests were treated to samplings of dessert from four competitors, Licia Ruby Chocolate, The Little White Kitchen Baking Co., Renee’s Fine Cakes and Sweet Revenge Bake Shop.

At the end of the event, a table of judges chose The Little White Kitchen Baking Co.’s creation as their favourite.

Guests were also given the opportunity to vote in a “people’s choice” category.  They chose Licia Ruby’s creation.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the many services VON performs in the community.
