Residential house sales were up for the month of January compared to one year ago according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
Last month, 325 homes were sold, compared with 279 in January 2015. This is a jump of 16.49%.
It was in East Windsor where most homes changed hands with 46 sold, Central/Downtown Windsor with 45, and South Windsor saw 33 homes sold.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 25 houses sold, LaSalle had 21 and Leamington had 19.
