Professor and Director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Center at the University of Windsor, Hoda ElMaraghy, was invested into the Order of Ontario in a ceremony at Queen’s Park Wednesday night.
ElMaraghy was the first female Dean of Engineering in Canada and also the first Canadian woman to obtain a PhD in mechanical engineering. Her research on flexible manufacturing has helped manufacturers around the world adapt and respond to market changes.
