The Windsor Spitfires are asking fans attending Thursday night’s game to bring sealed, bottled water of any size or quantity in support of the city of Flint, Michigan.
Donations can be dropped off to the Centerline Zone on the main concourse of the WFCU Centre across from Sections 108 & 109.
Alternatively, fans will have the opportunity to drop off donations outside Gate 2 and Gate 4. Volunteers will be on-hand at both locations to help with unloading water from vehicles. To avoid delays, fans are asked to arrive a little earlier than usual if possible.
On Friday and Saturday anyone still interested in making a donation can drop it off at the Spitfires main office between 10am and 4pm or The Crease location on the Community Rinks side of the WFCU Centre from 4pm to 8pm and again on Saturday from 9am to noon.
All water collected will be delivered directly to Flint as the Spits complete a home & home series with the Firebirds at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center on Saturday night.
