LaSalle Police are warning of suspicious activity in the town.
They say that approximately two weeks ago the truck pictured here pulled into a driveway in LaSalle. The driver and passenger got out of the truck and pretended that their truck had broken down. The occupants rang the doorbell, and when the homeowner answered they claimed they were having trouble with the truck.
The homeowner asked them to move the truck off his driveway, which they did by pushing onto the road. The two then claimed a buddy of theirs was coming to help them with the truck. Within minutes a white compact sedan showed up. The homeowner did not see the truck being given a jump-start.
Both vehicles left shortly afterwards.
The two males in the truck were described as being in their late teens or early 20’s, medium build and about 5’10” tall.
Police ask that if you suspect suspicious in your neighbourhood please call them right away. If possible get a licence plate number and provide that information to the Dispatcher immediately.
