Lakeshore Community Pool Construction Progressing

Construction of the new Windsor Family Credit Union Community Pool at the Atlas Tube Centre in Lakeshore is well underway, and is on track to open in the Summer of 2016.
The pool basins are poured and tested, pumps and filters have been installed. Windows are currently being installed with complete enclosure by the end of December to begin work on interior finishes.
The new aquatic centre is being added to the north of the Atlas Tube Centre and will contain when completed, a 25m lap pool, zero entry pool, lazy river and therapeutic pool along with a viewing area and party room. Large sliding doors will open to a splashpad overlooking the soccer fields outside.
The hiring of 50 to 70 staff for the facility is expected to begin in February.
