Ride-share company Uber is gauging interest in Windsor after the company posted job postings on its website on Friday.
The company is looking for UberX Driver Partners and full time independent contract drivers in Windsor to help the “community of riders get around town,” according one of the job postings.
“Driving with Uber is a great way to earn cash on your schedule,” read the posting. “It’s simple and perfect for those looking for seasonal, work from home, entry level, temporary, or any type of job opportunities.”
Applicants are expected to be at least 21-years-old, have a 4-door vehicle, a driver’s license and insurance, and be friendly and excited. The job postings list $19.14 per hour as a wage rate.
