The first snowfall of the season is expected to accumulate in Windsor-Essex on Saturday.
Environment Canada says that rain or wet snow will begin Saturday morning and accumulations by the early evening could range from 2 to 8 centimetres.
There is considerable uncertainty as to exact snowfall amounts in the southwest as temperatures will be very near the freezing mark.
