Demolition of Electa Hall at the University of Windsor is moving along.
Crews from Jones Group have been working on gutting the inside over the past month. Once complete, the entire structure will come down.
The student residence complex at the corner of University and Patricia was built in two phases. Phase I was constructed in 1957 and Phase II, known as the annex was built in 1962.
The University says that the building needed significant deferred maintenance work. The last students moved out of the building in April.
Demolition is expected to be complete by the end of October.
