Damage is set at $1-million after a fire at an apartment complex Wednesday morning.

The fire at 2455 Rivard Avenue broke out in a 5th floor unit around 7:15am and sent several people to hospital.

Fire officials list the cause as accidental.

The Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation says that all displaced residents on the 5th floor will be able to return to their units on Monday at 9am. This excludes the unit where the fire originated, and four other units that sustained serious water damage and cannot be occupied for a longer period of time.
