The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Watch for the southeast shoreline of the Municipality of Leamington between Wheatley Harbour and Point Pelee due to flood waters over portions of the road surface in the Cotterie Park area.
The flooded road surfaces in certain areas may be significantly deep and should not be considered safe to drive through. Shoreline erosion and damaging waves also remain a concern for this area.
The warning is in effect until Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 4pm.
