UPDATED: Arson At Wyandotte Street East Pizzeria Still Under Investigation

Damage is extensive after an early morning fire Monday on Wyandotte Street East.

Windsor fire crews were called to the Pizza Brothers location on the corner of Wyandotte Street East and Marion Avenue around 4:30am.

They found heavy smoke and fire coming from the building when they arrived.

It took crews about an hour to bring it under control, but they remained on scene for several hours dealing with hot spots.

Windsor Police Arson investigators are working with The Ontario Fire Marshal as well as Windsor Fire & Rescue Services on what has now been classified as a suspicious fire.

Investigators spent all day Tuesday examining the scene, and it will continue on Wednesday.
