Specialized Leaf Pickup Ending In Tecumseh

The Town of Tecumseh will no longer be providing specialized leaf pick up services to certain areas of the town.
In the past, those who lived in designated areas of Wards 1 and 2 could rake their leaves to the curb and have them picked up.
Now, they will have to bag them and put them at the curb following the current yard waste collection program, offered throughout the rest of the Town.
Windsor Disposal Service has been contracted by the Town to provide yard waste collection and disposal throughout the Town commencing annually in mid-April and continuing until the first week of December. The last day for Yard Waste Collection in 2015 is November 30th.
