Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

The City of Windsor is looking to sell off some land across from the airport that it acquired years ago.

The property located at 5245 County Road 42 was previously used as a golf driving range, and was purchased by the city in 2006 at a cost of $1,000,000.

Windsor Police had intended to use the property as a towed vehicle storage yard and accident reporting centre as part of its redevelopment project to accommodate a relocation of its East End Community Patrol station.

Windsor Police officials have now determined that they no longer need the property.

If council approves the plan to sell the land, city administration will obtain an independent appraisal for the subject property.  The property will then be listed for sale on MLS at a list price commensurate with an independent appraisal.
