The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has shut down Chanoso’s in Downtown Windsor after a cockroach infestation was found.
Mike Janisse from the Health Unit says that the order is to remain in effect until the premise is re-inspected and the health inspector is satisfied that the provisions of the order have been carried out.
A statement posted on their Facebook page reads: “Chanoso’s has a problem that originates outside the property. We have been working hard with the health department on the problem as it affects all surrounding and neighbouring businesses. We look forward to solving it with our neighbours and hope to be reopen soon.”
