The school year may begin uninterrupted for area public high school students after all.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation has reached a tentative contract agreement with the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association for teachers at public high schools across the province.
The tentative agreement must be endorsed by local leaders before it is presented to all members for ratification.
A meeting of those local leaders will take place later this week.
Details of the agreement has not been released.
