Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex dedicated their 59th build in the 21 year history of the organization on Saturday.
The new home located at 2284 Highland Avenue was built for a three member family. “We are all so pleased to assist this family into their new home,” states Mike Van der Vlist, Executive Director, HFHWE. “It marks another great day for the residents of Windsor-Essex who now have built 59 homes in 21 years.”
The brick and vinyl raised ranch is just under 1000 sq ft of finished living space with two plus one bedrooms.
“This build has been a busy and exiting time for the community” says Jeremy Roberts, Board Chair, of HFHWE. “A new home provides not only the opportunity for a family, but also builds the overall sense of community, and how we each treat one another.”
