Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island has launched a new campaign spotlighting regional Farmers Markets.
The project brings together 9 local Farmers Markets in Windsor Essex and was created to drive promotion and increase the amount of local food that local residents were buying on a weekly basis.
“To prevent duplication and ensure authenticity, we are offering visitors an enhanced experience at the markets with the ability to take home a ‘taste of place,’” says Vice President of TWEPI, Lynnette Bain. “This group is helping the markets work together instead of competing for the same customers and vendors.”
