The Town of Tecumseh is looking to review the boundaries of the Business Improvement Area, and to do so has retained the services of StrategyCorp.
The Town has designated the area shown on the above map as a BIA to allow local business operators and property owners to join together and with the support of the Town and the BIA Board of Management, organize, finance and carry out physical improvements and promote economic development.
They are now looking to hear from commercial property owners and business operators located within the current BIA boundary, as well as other area stakeholders on how both the Town and BIA can support the advancement and promotion of the business community.
Public Information and Consultation Sessions are taking place to allow participants to be informed on the legislated role and purpose of a BIA and its Board of Management, along with the services and activities offered presently by the Tecumseh BIA. Town Administration will also provide an update on the proposed Tecumseh Mainstreet Corridor Community Improvement Plan and the Tecumseh Hamlet Secondary Plan, as well as details about future area road improvements.
They will take place Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm and Wednesday morning from 7am to 9am at Torino’s Banquet Hall located at 12049 Tecumseh Road.
