Essex County OPP are investigating an armed robbery that happened just before 11pm Thursday night at the Stop and Go Convenience located at 80 King Street East in Harrow.

Police say that the lone male clerk was taking the garbage out the back door when he was met by a male who ordered him back into the store. Once inside, the male lead the employee to the front of store where he produced a knife and demanded the money from the cash register. The male then left with the cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, 6’ to 6’ 2” tall, 200 to 220 pounds, with a heavy build, glasses and white scruff on his face. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, a white baseball cap, dark-colored track pants and dark shoes.

Police are asking that anyone with any information to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
