Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Windsor and Essex County.
They say thunderstorms associated with a frontal boundary are expected to affect southwestern Ontario this afternoon and into this evening. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe with torrential downpours and damaging winds.
The threat should diminish this evening.
