Local Housing Sales Up Again

Housing sales in Windsor-Essex are up again in May with a 10.73% increase over May 2014.
The Windsor-Essex County Realtors Association says 588 homes were sold this past May compared to 531 last year.
In Windsor, the Central and Downtown Windsor area is where most homes changed hands with 73 sold, followed by east Windsor with 64 and south Windsor rounds out the top three with 49.
In the county, Lakeshore was the most popular area with 92 houses sold, LaSalle had 41 sold and Leamington rounds out the top three with 40 sold.
