FCA Canada Reports Best Sales Month In Company’s 90 Year History

May 2015 sales at FCA Canada Inc. reached a record of 31,617, compared with 31,498 in May 2014. These results mark the best sales month in the 90-year history of the Company.
“Posting an all-time record sales month while dealing with temporary constraints on some of our highest selling products proves just how diversified and strong our product portfolio has become,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, FCA Canada. “With a $2 billion investment in the new minivan program and the retooling of the Windsor Assembly Plant now complete, our employees are back to building Canada’s best-selling minivans – Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country, which makes us very optimistic of our sales outlook at FCA Canada.”
Highlights of the month included all-time monthly sales records set for Jeep and Ram brands as well as Jeep Cherokee and Ram pickup trucks, May sales records set for Dodge Challenger and Jeep Grand Cherokee and passenger car sales increase 15%.
