A steady stream of families enjoyed the region’s first carnival of the season, Friday evening.

The carnival by Carter Shows is being held in the parking lot of the former Rona store, and features lots of rides, games, food and fun.

The carnival runs as follows:

Saturday May 16th – Open at 11am
Sunday May 17th – Open at 12pm
Monday May 18th – Open at 11am
Tuesday May 19th to Friday May 22nd – Open at 4pm
Saturday May 23rd – Open at 11:00am
Sunday May 24th – Open 12pm to 5pm
