A small fire broke out in the parish hall of St. Francis of Assisi Church located at 1701 Turner Road Tuesday evening.
The fire was extinguished by sprinkler head before fire fighters arrived, but they had to removed smoke from the building.
An investigator has been called to the scene to determine the cause.
