Work Underway At New Windsor Cargo Hub

Work is well underway at the site of Windsor’s future Multi-modal Cargo Development on the airport lands.

The development includes a 35,000 square foot building to be leased by FedEx Canada Ltd, a 10,000 square foot building for the University of Windsor’s Institute for Border Logistics and Security and, a 27,000 square foot building for a future cargo-related tenant.

Construction started on the site in September, and the steel erection on the FedEx building is almost complete. The building is expected to be closed-in before the end of February.

Site servicing including the installation of sanitary and storm sewers and watermains has also been completed.
