PHOTOS: Overnight Fire Destroys Elliot Street House

The cause of an early morning fire in the 500 block of Elliot Street East is listed as undetermined.
Fire crews were called to the house around 1am and found smoke coming from the basement.
The fire spread to an addition at the rear of the house and then back to the main part of the house. Firefighters switched to a “defensive” attack on the fire from outside and utilized aerial platforms to fight flames.
Firefighters spent several hours getting it under control.
Damage is set at $110,000. There are no reports of injuries.
