City of Windsor administration is recommending the approval of a large Canadian flag pole to be installed in Dieppe Gardens at the foot of Ouellette Avenue.
The pole will be 150 feet tall and will hold a flag that is 60′ x 30′ with night lighting.
The effort is being lead by a volunteer group with a goal of raising $300,000. The City of Windsor has already committed $25,000.
It goes to City Council on Monday, February 16th for final approval.
