The Town of Ahmerstburg is looking to improve the way it communicates with town residents, and social media will play an important part in that.
Several Facebook and Twitter accounts have been created within different departments of the town.
The town hopes to use social media to post notifications of public meetings, upcoming tax dates, presentation of new Council initiatives, emergency notifications, municipal office closures, town events and more.
