The Windsor Public Library has put out a list of the most popular reads for 2014.

The most popular title at  last year was a children’s resource, The Keys:  Math Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7: Student Study Guide, which was checked out 344 times.

Coming in second was Sycamore Row by John Grisham  with 342 checkouts, followed by The Gods Of Guilt by Michael Connelly with 283 checkouts and in fourth place was Top Secret Twenty-one:  A Stephanie Plum Novel, by Janet Evanovich, with 274 checkouts.

Another title in the student study guide series, The Key:  Science Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, placed fifth on the list with 272 checkouts.

The most popular reference title checked out was the Official MTO drivers Handbook, with 125 checkouts.

The top three eBook downloads were Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn with 161 downloads; Never Go Back by Lee Child with 146 downloads and The Racketeer by John Grisham with 133 downloads.

The library says that circulation figures show that 1,174,452 items were circulated, and of this, 113,735 were in electronic format.
