Sears Offers Jobs And Discounts To Target Employees

Sears is looking to help Target employees affected by store closings and job losses.

Sears is encouraging Target Canada employees interested in job opportunities to visit the Sears Canada Careers site found here.  Beginning early next week, the site will publish information on special events being planned by Sears regarding career opportunities such as local job fairs across Canada, where Sears can help match great candidates with their next career opportunity.

In addition, to help employees during this time of uncertainty, Sears will offer affected Target Canada employees the Sears Canada employee discount for a period of 16 weeks.

This discount is 25% on soft goods and 15% on hard goods and applies to both regular and sale prices with some exceptions.

The offer will commence on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, and details will be available on their website.
