Public Board Students Get Free Microsoft Office

All students in the Greater Essex County District School Board have received, free of charge, Office 365 accounts which they can access through the browser of any internet-connected device all day, any day.
In addition all students will have free access to the entire Microsoft Professional Office Suite for as many as five different computers / devices.
“It’s important for us to close the digital divide,” says Superintendent of Education for Information Technology John Howitt. “Free access to Microsoft Office for all our students is incredible progress.”
Students are now able to log on to the Office 365 Education site and download the software.
